Dr Martin Luther

We thank you Lord that we can call the activities of the past, and gratefully remember the many blessing you have bestowed upon your church through Dr. Martin Luther, and other faithful pastors and leaders during the Reformation era. God You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Like the song says:
A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, we praise You for You are worthy, and we thank you for Your presence daily in our lives. I plead with You to bless us, to provide for us and to fulfill all our needs and desires. Help us to fulfill Your commandments and make us constantly aware of Your love, that we may strive towards the high calling of Jesus Christ. Lord help us to go forth spreading the Gospel throughout our Diocese, making disciples of all the nations.
As we enter this new month and week dear Lord, I pray that You will strengthen and protect us, reassure us of Your eternal Love. Please embrace us with your presence so that we will know that whatever lies ahead, You will never leave nor forsake us. Please forgive all of our sins, which we have committed know and unknown. Lord guide us by your word and teach us to obey Your word.
In Jesus name
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
